The Story Behind the Goodies

Welcome to Gatlin's Goodies! I grew up spending a lot of time in my Gram's kitchen.  I remember everything about it, the warmth, the smells of fresh coffee and hot apple pie, and the unmistakable feeling of being surrounded by love! It feels like every memory made with my grandmother was made in that little kitchen.  There's something special about homemade baking.  My Gram taught me that baking isn't just about following a recipe — it's about pouring a little piece of yourself into everything you make.

Baking has always been my way of sharing love with my family and friends just like my Gram did with me.  Now, what began as family and friends requesting goodies for holidays and special occasions has grown into a small business.  I absolutely love taking my baked goods to farmers markets.  We live in such a fast paced world and markets just remind me of days when everyone still knew their neighbors and stopped to chat when they walked by.  They are a place where people appreciate the time and effort that goes into doing things the right way, with care.  Thank you for supporting local and allowing me to share something I truly enjoy.
